Love community school! 2 of my children have gone here and my 3rd will be attending this Fall. They have the best time, and my oldest has attended the big kid summer camp for 3 years and loves it. They do great little shows for the kids to be in (holiday and spring), fun activities like yoga and music, field trips as they get older, and they learn so much - I had no issues with kindergarten readiness. We love the teachers too! Ms. Juli, Ms. Alexis, Ms. Olivia, and Ms. Carolina are amazing, plus the summer counselors my son raves about." |
Every day parents seek out daycares/preschools for their toddlers…a process that I’m sure you know is emotional, stressful, and lengthy. I’m so thankful that we found the Community School for Enzo. The staff all around is so compassionate, patient and kind. You are doing a wonderful job and I feel it’s very necessary to extend a sincere thank you to you regarding how you have helped with Enzo in the past few months. His behavior has been very trying to all involved and we are so grateful for how you and the staff have handled and guided the situation. |
Great daycare. Both of my kids went here and for the most part its been very pleasant. My kids learned a good amount here as well and for the most part pre-K should be about kids just learning to play with each other and learn some basic stuff. I would recommend this daycare over some of the others in Nutley" |
Our family had such a great experience at The Community School for almost 3 years until our daughter transitioned into Kindergarten. Everyone made us feel at home and we were able to make friends with other families. Each teacher, helper and all the support staff treated our daughter and all the children as if they were an extension of their families. From schoolwide shows and celebrations of cultures and places throughout the world to body movement and yoga classes - they engage the kids in a variety of activities to expose them to the true meaning of community. The academic curriculum was fun and a good preparation for Kindergarten. Our older son participated in the summer camp and enjoyed the variety of fun games and activities. The summer program for the younger ones was a seamless transition from the school year. There was also plenty of time outdoors to enjoy the beautiful parks right outside the doors of the school. We wanted to give this review in appreciation for The Community School, as well as to share our experiences with prospective families." |
Having moved to Nutley a few years ago, we had to enroll our two daughters into daycare right away... could not have asked for a better place than Community School. All of the teachers have been caring and eased our girls transition to the school seamlessly, preparing them for kindergarten with the necessary tools to excel in new environments." |
