Research based and child focused, the Community School Infant-Toddler Program and Curriculum uses a carefully designed process of learning through discovery, called "active participatory" learning. During active learning, caregivers encourage infants and toddlers to discover the world around them by exploring and playing.
Learning and development are anchored by long-term, trusting relationships with caregivers, who are close at hand to support children as they play. Our teaching staff at the Infant/Toddler location are chosen for their ability to nurture these youngest of our students and their desire to work with children of this age.
Our teachers are trained and educated in this field, love to sing and play and are energetic and caring. Children in all our programs quickly become important members of our Community School family.
