Our Program at St. Paul's is designed for parents needing other than "full day" care. These families are looking for their children to spend time with peers and learn the social and academic skills they will need for success in their future interactions with their peers.

Our programs are designed to prepare children with the social and educational skills they will need for success in elementary school and beyond. Reading, literacy, social studies, math and science are all part of the daily learning program. Our goal is to foster a life-long love of learning in children. At our St. Paul's Location, we accommodate the needs of families who need part time and half-day care for their children in our 8:00 am to 1:00 pm program for children 2 1/2 through 5 years old and children preparing for kindergarten in surrounding elementary schools like Yantacaw, Spring Garden, Lincoln, Washington, Radcliffe, St. Thomas, St. Clair's and in Bloomfield: Brookdale, Watessing, and schools in Montclair, Clifton and Glenridge to name a few.

At our St. Paul's location "half-day" program from 8:00 am to 1:00pm. Parents have the option to enroll their children on a more flexible schedule to meet their preschooler's needs. Many families have older children in the surrounding elementary schools; Yantacaw, Spring Garden, Washington and Lincoln and Radcliff. These families don't need a full day of care for their preschoolers. The shorter hours of the AM or PM program or the school-day length program are sufficient to meet their needs. Most children stay for lunch and enjoy language and social interaction. FOur days each week, there are music, art, sculture and other specials after lunch to enrich each child's learning experience!

All of our teaching staff
including at the St. Paul's Location is dedicated to providing children with the social and academic skills they will need to succeed in Elementary school. Children can experience Music and Movement Class, Yoga and hear musical instruments like guitar and piano. We get great reports from the surrounding elementary school teachers about the children that graduate from Community School. Literacy, science and math skills are taught in a fun and engaging way to our children so they will always be excited about learning.
Our Lead Teacher Staff members have earned their Bachelors Degrees in early childhood education and have an average experience of teaching 12 years in the field. We respect and value our dedicated and talented teachers and, as a result, have an unusually low turnover in staff.
