About Us
At the Community School we believe
that Learning should be a fun and satisfying
experience for every child!
We are dedicated to providing the highest quality childcare
and education for children in their important early learning years.
Our Teachers are degreed and experienced specifically in the
field of Early Childhood. We have an exceptionally low staff
turnover and our Teacher to Child ratio is well above the
State requirements. We have been providing quality care
and education for young children since 1967!
Teachers are sensitive to each
child's learning style and abilities.
We work together with families to help children
acquire the skills, knowledge and confidence they will need to
do well in school and throughout life.
We Operate Different Programs
in three separate locations - all located in Nutley.
Our Fulltime Preschool is located in the Vincent United Methodist Church -
100 Vincent Place in Nutley,
across the street from the Nutley Public Library.
The program operates year 'round
7:30 am to 5:30 pm optional 7 am & 6 pm hours
Serving Children 2 through 5 years old
At this location, we also have an 8 week
Summer Camp for children 6 through 13 years old.

Morning and Afternoon Classes are Available
8:00 to 11:15 am morning classes
8:00 to 1:00 pm afternoon classes
This 1/2 day Program closes during the Summertime but is open during public school breaks (Christmas Week, Spring & Winter Breaks)
NEW TO OUR ST PAUL'S LOCATION!
We now offer a 9:00 am to 3:00 pm pre-k 4 year old class for children entering kindergarten the following year!!
